Wouldn't waste my money. Tried spending local until we were robbed. 10$ for an egg sandwich. And 4.50 for a frozen bagel and cream cheese. Staff lounging around. One waitresses son stretching across counter seats. Seemed nice enough until the bill arrived. Cashier reviewed the bill then straight out told us " well, we're only open for a short period of time and need to make our money". Great way to promote your business. I understand it's a tourist trap but that's insane. Lex ave doesn't even charge that amount
Solid place for breakfast right in the heart of town. Service can be inattentive and not that friendly but the food is ok.
Best pancake place in town
We came each morning for breakfast during our 3 day stay in Montauk. Food was great every time, place was very clean and our servers were always accommodating. Silver dollar pancakes were tasty and their home fries were delicious!
Great service thanks Anthony love the new boss
Excellent food, excellent service and the best conversation ever. Good job Anthony!
Great place for great breakfast.
Excellent!! Good food, pleasant service. Everything comes from the kitchen just as you asked for it! Best breakfast, period!
Party of 9 on a Sunday in July.Only a 20 minute wait. Every order came out together and all were perfect. Nothing else needs to be said.
There is another place called John's across the street which doesn't come close! The pancakes at Anthony's are simple and delicious, light and have that doughy taste. The ambiance is much more what you are looking for when you are in town vacationing. It is clean and the staff is nice, family owned, service is quick. Pricey but it's Montauk!
Worst burger i have had since middle school cafeteria, they need major help. It was either rushed cooked frozen or started on a cold griddle. The thing released so much water the bottom bun dissolved. As a chef for over 20 years, I would even offer free advise to help them, that or just stop making burgers
We went to place across the street first ( I don’t want to leave name for this place) and we left that place within 5 min , because experienced a very bad attitude of their manager. So we’ve been looking for other place and found this one. Place looks clean, good service , nice staff, food is ok, and prices are responsible. We were happy to eat our breakfast here at Antony’s place
Pretty good food. Service is ok. Not worth a long wait, but if you get in quick, worth a try.
Nice environment, food is alright. Asked for biscuits & gravy which is on the menu for a side with the steak but they wouldn’t let me order it separately. 🤷♀️
Tasteless and overpriced.Disappointing considering crowds. $12 omelette barely was two eggs worth and overdone.
Very fluffy pancakes in a very pleasant space. Good spot for a casual breakfast.
Awesome staff and delicious breakfast.
Great food.
Good food. Grandpa Anthony still working at the age of 90. Wounderful experience. Must check it out. Bring cash, as they only accept cash.
The breakfast food was well made. It tasted good for eggs, bacon and home fries. The service was on point and made sure you had coffee without running out. The experience was good for breakfast service.
Everything tastes bad. We ordered pancakes, omelets, eggs.
This breakfast spot has done a complete 180 turn since last summer, when we visited Montauk, NY. The recent renovations under the new owners have completely changed the environment of this incredible pancake house. The food is delicious, and the staff is friendly, kind, and attentive. The addition of an ATM was also convenient since the restaurant favors cash payments. The place is immaculate and is doing a great job staying sanitary during the Coronavirus Pandemic.
Really wanted to eat at Johns Pancake House ( I had heard some good things), but after being seated we were overcome by pesky flies. My kids freaked out and we got up and left. Went to Anthony’s Pancake House across the street reluctantly (bad reviews) found the place cleaner (no flies), good air conditioning and the food was fine. Had an omelette, kids had chocolate pancakes. Good service and they provided coffee refills. Not many breakfast options in Montauk but Anthony’s was good enough...
Wonderful staff, great food. A real down home feel. Love this place!
We left. The host wanted to seat us at a narrow/tiny table even after asking if we could sit at one of the many open bigger ones. Husband is 6’5 and 260, his span was ridiculous and no way to be comfortable eating. We went across the street and they accommodated us no problem.
This is why we love Montauk! Good breakfast menu. Expensive? Not considering location and the quality of meal and super clean interior. The bathroom was spotless! Both Johns and here had excessive wait times, 45min. A minor criticism is that the staff were all business, no conversation skills, like everyone there! That was weird. Still, recommended.
I might have had it all wrong, but I walked away from another nearby pancake house (second day in a row) for feeling like I was being treated differently because of the color of my skin. A few blocks away, the staff at Anthony’s pancake house were on the contrary, very welcoming and attentive so my husband and I decided to give it a try. The food was amazing and the place was immaculate... so clean! Would definitely recommend this breakfast spot to family and friends
Worst place ever!! Waitresses have the worst attitudes and the food is awful. McDonald’s is 5 star meal compared to the overpriced slop there. We had items taken off the check due to horrible quality of food. When I asked for lettuce and tomato for my burger, I was told I had to get the $13 deluxe meal that came with cheese. When I asked to have the cheese removed, the waitress was horribly nasty. Restaurant it’s self is filthy. Dine at you’re own risk.
I ordered scrambled eggs. They were uncooked and tasteless. The slimy White of the eggs could be seen. Rye bread was over toasted and hard. Their special fluffy pancakes were ok, nothing special. They lacked flavor. They are over priced and take cash only. It was a complete waste of money. I hope this CASH ONLY RESTAURANT pays IRS taxes.
Great, old-fashioned diner.
Had a spider in our poached eggs. When we asked the waiter to come over he stuck his hands in the egg and said there's no spider, we can make you another. We then found a fly in our omlette. We left and were forced to pay for the drinks. Eat at your own risk.
Good breakfast. Omelette and pancakes were good. Waitresses and servers were friendly.
Good food, but their prices are too high. I'm very disappointed that I couldn't pay with credit card and that they added a tip to my bill. I would like to decide about the amount of gratuity. Also I could not finish my coffee, because a waiter said that other people are waiting and I need to go...
Do not recommend!! Not sure how they have stayed in business.. Terrible service - terrible food. The staff is incredibly rude - they wave you off and roll their eyes at you when you ask for something or try to get their attention. Will never go back here again.
This place is definitely way better than johns across the street. Really great overall diner experience, I don’t understand the low ratings.
The service was great the people are very courteous and we're very welcoming and the food was good as well.
Nice and clean, friendly staff. The food came out quick and hot, which is what we all want. I went with the pancakes with fruit- banana pancakes, nice and hot with fresh cuts of banana on top and stuffed with bananas in between the pancakes. The pancakes were nice and fluffy and only lasted a NY minute. Price was right and service was great and I would return next time I'm out this way.... nice breakfast place....
Nice restaurant, nice food and fast cooking. I liked how the inside looks
Food is barely ok. Avoid corned beef hash.
Our pitstop before going home from our Montauk vacation. Great food, friendly service. They try their best to seat you quick..
Horrible experience. A spider was in my wife's poached eggs. When the server came to check out the issue, he picked out the spider, smashed it in his fingers, and then said, "no spider" and then proceeded to tell us that it wasn't a spider and instead was a piece of food. This is when we noticed that our friends omelette had a fly in it as well. It was at this point that we decided to leave. On the way out, they wouldn't let us leave without paying for the drinks that we had partially consumed. Mistakes happen, but they handled it poorly. Stay away from this place.
The food was good, but the coffee was a little watery.
Family owned business with attentive staff and great food. If you get a seat by the window, you've got it made.
Good old fashion luncheon place for decent pancakes, waffles, and eggs. Good service and comfortable. Reasonable prices.
Pumpkin pancakes were good but not great (a little mushy). Husband's regular pancakes were delicious. Expensive though - two orders of pancakes, two sides of bacon and two coffees was $37! Too much for a very simple (okay) breakfast. Would try a different place next time we are in town.
We waited a very long time to be seated. The food was disappointing. The pancakes were very dry and coffee was awful. We use to frequent this Restaurant a lot during the summer months. Boy how it has changed!!!
josh Ringel and Jeremiah VonBlohn, you guys didn’t want to pay from the food. That’s simply what it is. Hash burnt, not spider in ur food.
We went to brunch at this place during Covid. They have outdoor seating available, great hygiene, great cleaning and overall a good and safe place to have brunch. Food is good too and its inexpensive considering the location. Its on the main street, where you can enjoy view from outside and enjoy great food. We ordered Veggie of the day which was a big Veggie omlette long with house fries. Food was great. Definitely recommend this place for breakfast.
Traditional breakfast, maybe it is not cheap, but it is Montauk. Nice staff and perfect pancakes with hot chocolate. Come early if you do not want to stay in front of the restaurant for a long time
Our first time in Montauk and wanted some good food for breakfast and this was the spot. Food was great and didn’t have to wait long to be seated.
